Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 23, 2026

Panamá 3D (“we”) is the data controller for the personal data collected through panama3d.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, for how long and what your rights are, under Panama Law 81 of 26 March 2019 on Personal Data Protection, Executive Decree 285 of 2021 and, for visitors in the European Union, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

1. Data controller

  • Controller: Panamá 3D
  • Address: El Cangrejo, Panama City
  • Contact: hola@panama3d.com · Phone: +507 6000-0000
  • Data protection contact: hola@panama3d.com

2. What we collect

We only collect data you provide or that your use of the site generates:

  • name
  • phone / WhatsApp number
  • delivery address
  • order details and any design files you send us
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and access date/time (server logs).
  • Purchase data: products, amounts, delivery address and billing details. Card data is processed directly by the payment gateway; we never store it.

We do not process sensitive data (health, ethnic origin, beliefs, sexual orientation, biometrics) unless you volunteer it with your explicit consent.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

We process your data to:

  • quoting and printing your orders
  • arranging payment and delivery
  • answering your questions
  • improving the site with aggregate statistics (only with your consent)

Legal bases: your consent (art. 6 Law 81/2019; art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps you requested (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), compliance with legal obligations (tax, accounting) and our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and improving the service (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), provided your rights do not override it.

Marketing communications are only sent with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link or by writing to us.

4. How long we keep it

We keep data for as long as the relationship lasts or as needed for the purpose it was collected for. Afterwards it is blocked and kept only for statutory limitation periods (in Panama, generally up to five (5) years for tax and commercial obligations), then erased or anonymised.

Contact enquiries with no further relationship are erased after twelve (12) months. Subscription data is kept until you unsubscribe.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with providers who act on our instructions (processors), under appropriate contractual safeguards:

We may also disclose data to public authorities where the law requires it.

6. International transfers

Some providers are located outside Panama (for example, in the United States). Transfers are made under Law 81/2019 and its regulation, ensuring an adequate level of protection through contracts with data-protection clauses and, for EU residents, the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or another valid Chapter V GDPR mechanism.

7. Your rights

You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and portability (ARCO-P rights under Law 81/2019), as well as restriction of processing and withdrawal of consent (GDPR).

Write to hola@panama3d.com stating the right you exercise and attaching proof of identity. We respond within ten (10) business days under Law 81/2019 (one (1) month for GDPR requests).

If you believe we have not handled your request properly you may lodge a complaint with the Panamanian National Authority for Transparency and Access to Information (ANTAI, www.antai.gob.pa) or, if you live in the EU, with your national supervisory authority.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures: encryption in transit (HTTPS), access control, backups and providers with recognised security certifications. No system is infallible; if we detect a breach that may affect your rights we will notify you and the competent authority as required by law.

9. Minors

The site is not directed at people under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If we learn a minor provided data without parental authorisation, we will erase it.

10. Cookies

We use first- and third-party cookies. Non-essential cookies only run with your consent. Full details and the option to change your choice are in our Cookie Policy.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. The current version and its date are always published on this page; material changes will be communicated through the usual channels.

Governing law: Republic of Panama.
